Here's Ana!

This is sort of an 'oldie' but one that I'm VERY proud of. This is a doll that I made for my two yr old daughter for Xmas. I'd never made anything like this and before this I'd only used the sewing machine to sew in a straight line. I got inspired by the dolls that Hillary makes (they are adorable!). Enjoy! :)

She's so cute! How precious! These dolls are a lot of work. I remember when I was 7 I went to this store w/my mom and I fell in love with this doll made out of cloth... small shop, nothing branded but I wanted her so much. My mom said no and I was real bummed... then when my bday came around she got me the doll. I don't remember much of anything from the bday party except two things... the cake my mom made for me and the doll she bought me. It meant the world to me and I will never forget.

This doll reminds me of the doll I had... very soft and huggable.

Thanks! :) The other day daughter decided to give her a small "make over" and took off her bangs. Oh well! She's 2 so I'm surprised that's the only thing she's done so far! LOL!

She's so beautiful! I would love to make a doll. I'd probably get halfway through and give up though. :) Your daughter is so lucky to have such a talented mommy!

I agree with everyone else! You are so clever and talented. i literally need a pattern to sew pretty much anything! Any thoughts on making a boy one? I am sure she has the most instyle bangs now! ;)
